General Returns Policy
- Applies only to equipment under warranty or sites under parts contract.
- All returns require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, which will be emailed to you by a NPI representative upon receipt and review of your RMA Request.
- RMAs are valid for fifteen (15) days from the date of submission.

- The RMA number must be CLEARLY printed on the shipping label.
- You must include a printed copy of your RMA Request within the package. You will receive a copy of your RMA Request immediately following submission.
- Special order items are not returnable.
- Returned items will be replaced by like or similar items.
- Ground shipping and handling costs to customer are covered by NPI.
- Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs for sending product to NPI.
All returns are subject to inspection and approval prior to credit being issued. Items showing signs of neglect or abuse, incomplete assemblies, Improper packaging, including boards not being in static bags, signs of physical damage that is not normal wear and tear will not be credited and customer will be invoiced for part(s) sent.
- Returns without proper RMA documentation will be shipped back to customers at their expense.
- Items incorrectly shipped to NPI will be returned to customers at their expense.
Defective Return
We ship a replacement part for the defective item, which is billed up front. We issue credit for the defective part once it is received in our facility, inspected, and approved. To avoid charges, you have 15 days upon receipt of replacement part(s) for the defective part(s) to be returned to our facility.
Damaged Parts
Please be sure to inspect your order upon receipt. If the package appears damaged, or contains damaged parts, you must first notify the shipper and then notify NPI within five (5) business days of receipt by emailing parts@npisorters.com. The incident will be documented, and the carrier may decide to return the delivery to NPI. Without the incident documentation, subsequent damage claims may be difficult or impossible to prove later.
Wrong Parts
Customers must notify NPI within five (5) business days of receipt of any part that is shipped in error or short shipped by completing a return request form by emailing parts@npisorters.com, please put “Warranty / Replacement” in the subject line and provide an explanation of the issue in the body of the email.

International Returns
Because shipping outside the U.S. can be very expensive due to carrier costs, duties and customs fees, NPI maintains the following returns policies:
- NPI does not pay the shipping costs for any parts returned to us from outside the U.S. for any reason. Customers are responsible for all shipping, duties and customs fees for any replacement parts, as well.
Lost Packages
If your order does not arrive when expected, please first check the carrier tracking to confirm the package was not left at your address. Unless you required the carrier to obtain a signature upon delivery, NPI is not responsible for packages once the carrier verifies delivery. Once the carrier confirms the package was lost in transit, we will issue credit.
General Packaging Instructions
All items should be packed securely to prevent movement during shipping. Sufficient padding should be used to prevent damage to the item during shipping. Include a copy of this form in the package with the part. If you are shipping multiple parts back, either bag each part with its return form, or if this is impractical, tag each part with the part number. Remember not to package heavy parts with delicate parts in the same carton
Computers
Make sure all items internal to the computer are secure prior to packaging. Loose boards, drives or power supplies can severely damage internal components. Make sure computer is securely packaged with sufficient padding to prevent damage if carton is dropped. Improper preparation or packaging resulting in damage to the computer or components will void warranty.
Electronic Components
All electronic PC boards, computer drives or other electronic components must be packaged in anti-static bubble wrap and securely padded and packaged to prevent damage. Improper preparation or packaging resulting in damage to the electronic component will void warranty.
PARTS NOT RETURNED IN 15 DAYS WILL BE INVOICED AT FULL PRICE
PARTS RECIEVED WITHOUT A PRINTED COPY OF THE RMA SUBMISSION FORM WILL BE RETURNED
GENERAL RETURN RMAs WILL BE CANCELLED IF NOT RECIEVED WITHIN 15 DAYS FROM SUBMISSION
